Lower emission
PTI/PTO Hybrid propulsion system applications are widely used today. It has lower emission values compared to the conventional propulsion system. When the diesel main engine fails, the ship can safely propel at low speeds with the electric motor. Optionally, the battery system can be included, the electric motor that can work as a motor/alternator connected to the diesel main machine can be controlled at different speeds with the main drive panel.
